Please follow the Enrollment Instructions below to become an electronic submitter for Independent Health.
To enroll for a Submitter ID with Independent Health please contact their EDI Operations Team at 716-635-3911.
Let them know you are interested in applying for a Submitter ID so that you may send your electronic claims directly to them.
- Let them know your billing software is called SolAce EMC by AXIOM Systems Inc., formerly Ivertex and that we are already approved as one of their software vendors.
- Ask them if they can send you the form(s) required to obtain your Submitter ID so you can submit electronic claims directly to them.
- You may also email them at e-commerce@independenthealth.com
- The instructions for the forms they will send you are located below for your convenience.
- You will be required to fax the completed forms here: 716-929-1062
We can now process 276/277 requests (claim status). If this is a transaction you would like to utilize please make sure to enroll with the payer.

Transaction Assistant Intake Form
- Please enter today’s date as the Date of Request
- Check the box for "Add New Account/User ID"
- Enter the three digit Independent Health Electronic Submitter ID they will have provided after you've called their EDI Department
- Enter your Office Practice Name
- Fill in your demographic and contact information
- Enter your Tax ID number
- Enter the full name of the User(s) requesting access
Internet Information Delivery Agreements (TA User Agreement)
- Please enter the name of Provider or Group on the first line
- On Page 2, re-enter the name of the Provider or Group
- Enter the User Name of the primary user then sign below
- Please have the authorized representative sign as well
- Please enter today's Date
Please note: You can disregard the Transaction Assistant Navigation Tip Sheet that will be sent to you since our application will be doing the sending and downloading of files automatically.
Testing
Once you have received your Submitter ID and Password from Independent Health, please call the SolAce Support Team and set an appointment for a Mailbox setup and Test Transmission.
If you have not received your Submitter ID and Password back by email after 2 weeks, please call the E-Commerce Call Center at 716-635-3911.
Please have 20 test claims ready for testing. Test files should consist of a variety of claims that represent the type of claims you will be submitting once production status is achieved. Test claims will not be processed for payment but will be validated against production files; therefore, they must contain valid patient procedure, diagnosis, and provider information.
